Lisa provides direction for the ICAD team and serves as the senior instructional designer and production manager for the group. She has over 10 years of experience designing and building online courses. Her career in online learning began at The CBORD Group with the development of online help systems and multimedia tutorials, and it continued at Cornell University with the development of web-based courses. Lisa has degrees in cognitive psychology, physics, and mathematics. She formed Ithaca Content Architecture and Design in 2005.
Mickie is an illustrator, graphic artist, and educator who recently relocated from Brooklyn, NY where she was the Creative Director for the Alphabet Kids, illustrated children’s books, and taught creative technology projects to NYC students. She is excited to be combining her love of graphic art and education as part of the ICAD team.
We are grateful that Jeff Szuc wandered down from the wilds of Toronto, settled in Ithaca, and now collaborates with us on a variety of projects. A self-proclaimed “pretty big fan of everything,” Jeff has achieved renown as a pop-surrealist painter and illustrator. He has illustrated numerous books, including a 2009 children’s book series on animals, and is the creative force behind 4th Floor Studio.
Irene is currently a junior at Ithaca College. majoring in Cinema and Photography, with a concentration in Cinema Production. She has been part of the team at ICAD on and off for four years, starting as an apprentice interested in creating videos. She’s now the one we happily turn to for advice on the finer points of video and animation production.
Rebecca Rich Goldweber
Rebecca is ICAD’s senior editor and resident sovereign of the written word. In her 15 years of editing, she’s worked on manuscripts for small literary presses, NASA mission reports, ecology journal articles, vet school case studies, and just about everything in between. Rebecca’s background is in literature and linguistics.
